With so many types of treatments available, you may wonder why anyone still has to deal with mental illness at all. Take a few pills or undertake some therapy and you should be ‘cured’ shouldn't you? If only it was that easy!
Here we take a look at some of the treatments you may have been prescribed, undertaken or perhaps some that you may want to try. Bear in mind, many of these should only be instigated by your Doctor or mental health professional as their effectiveness or suitability is often based on your mental health condition or your physical health.
