We have had some incredible moments in our relatively short history (Note To Self: change this text after 15 years). We thought we’d share some of the best ones with you.

  • First Blog Published

It's sometimes hard to believe, given what we have achieved and the reach we now have, that Men Tell Health started as a simple Wordpress blog. This day was the first time, the first blog was posted. If you're interested, it was called 'Music Is The Answer'.

Thanks to a funding project between UnLtd., Social Enterprise Acumen and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, we received our first piece of financial funding (£500) as a Lead the Change Award winner. Not a huge amount in the great scheme of things, but it was enough to start the wheels turning.

  • The First SpeakEasy group

Our award-winning SpeakEasy groups started in Stockton-on-Tees at the Labyrinth Holistiic Cafe. The first person to walk through the door (other than us) was a lovely man called John. In fact he was the only person who came. Things have changed since then, but John still comes along and we're delighted that he does.

  • Our First National Award

We were so incredibly proud to be nominated for the National Diversity Award in 2017, but that was nothing compared to actually winning it. An amazing night at Liverpool Cathedral capped off by taking home an award from 22,000 nominations.

  • Wins the Marsh Award for Peer Support

We were incredibly proud to win the prestigious Marsh Award for Peer Support at PeerFest 18. We won it as part of the 'Doing It For Themselves' category.
